One week into October and I thought I should update, especially since I failed at getting my Monday post done.
As a reminder (in case you want to join in):
Rules
1. Post a blogpost saying you’ll be joining me in my battle against the ever-growing physical TBR-piles and pingback to this post.
2. Share your list of all the books you own and then decide which ones you’re going to read first.
If you can’t figure out a sequence for yourself, you can always start a poll and let others help you out!
3. If you’re sharing your updates on social media, use #OWNtober so we can follow up on each other!
*Note: Since I have already started on this list, I’ll mark off and add new as I get through the list.
Read
15. Blackbird Volume 4 – Kanoko Sakurakouji
23. The Wife – Alafair Burke

Thank you! I hope to clear that pile I have on the floor soon.
Thanks for stopping by even though I didn’t manage to get my usual Monday post together. 🙂 Have a great week.

Congrats on getting through your TBR. I own around 60 books that I haven’t read. I should stop getting new books and focus on those.

Thanks! Ugh, I have so many books… I don’t even have an accurate number of how many I haven’t read. I need to do a serious purge and get rid of the ones I’m sure I’ll never get around to reading. Thanks for coming by!

Thank you! I feel better knowing that I’ve gotten something off the list at least. And I have new homes for three of the books I’ve read recently so that’s a beautiful thing.

Ooh, that’s definitely a good thing! I’m going to try and find new homes for some of my books as soon as I cleared out all my shelves. They deserve owners who’ll actually read them again, hah. 🙂

I know you’re not in the US (or, at least, I don’t think you are?), but we have a website called PaperbackSwap where you can post books for others to request. It’s a great way to get books as well as send them off to new homes. I also need to talk to someone at the library – they do fundraiser book sales all the time and I have a bunch I’d love to donate.

I’ve heard of that site before, but it states it’s only for US residents, which – indeed – I’m not. 😦 There are some similar sites over here as well, but those are very local and rarely with English books..
I’ve got a garage sale coming up though, so I might just use that to get rid of some of my older books!

Yeah, unfortunately it is only for the US. There’s another I’ve used in the past – can’t remember the name at the moment – but nothing was ever available. Good luck with the garage sale though!
