Book Haul

I’ve been doing my best to not buy books lately and, for the most part, I’ve succeeded.  However, last night my husband wanted chicken fingers from a place near our house that also happens to be right next door to a used bookshop.

I was good.  I only bought two books.  Honest!

The first is Killing Floor by Lee Child, the first in the Jack Reacher series.  I’ve been wanting to start this series for a long time, but never wanted to put out the cash for it.  But for $4, I splurged.

The second is The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena.  I’ve heard a lot of good things about this one, so when I found the hardback for $6, I grabbed it.

All in all, I spent less than $11.

Also, on Friday, my pre-order of Ao Haru Ride Volume 7 arrived in the mailbox.  Color me excited!

Can’t wait to dive into all of these now.  Happy Monday!
