[Blogtober] Most Anticipated October Releases

This is tough because I’m never up on new releases.  Like, ever.  Why?  Because I have this ginormous backlog of books I haven’t read yet, so looking at upcoming releases only gets me into more trouble.  That said, here are a few that I’m looking forward to not being able to buy for the next seven years:

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo.  Why?  Mostly because I’ve been seeing it EVERYWHERE lately and it has me intrigued.  Expected publication: Oct 8.

The Grace Year by Kim Liggett.  Why?  Honestly, I love thrillers of any kind, the darker the better, and this is sounding like it will fit the bill.  I actually have an ARC of this that I won through Goodreads.  Expected publication: Oct 8.

Dracul by Dacre Stoker and J. D. Barker.  Why?  Um, because I’m obsessed with vampires, Vlad the Impaler, and Romania?  Seriously though, the chance to read a prequel to Dracula was enough to get me hooked.  I don’t care if that makes me sound crazy either. Totul este bine.  Expected publication: Oct 1.  (Bonus – my library has it for loan!)

19th Christmas by James Patterson.  Why?  JAMES PATTERSON.  *coughs*  Well, okay, so I can’t help it, this is my favorite series of his and I always get excited when a new one releases.  Expected publication: Oct 14.

Rachael Ray 50: Memories and Meals from a Sweet and Savory Life: A Cookbook by Rachael Ray.  Why?  Again, I love Rachael Ray, several of her meals have become family favorites over the years.  Honestly, I had no idea this was even coming out until I searched for books releasing this month.  Expected publication: Oct 15.

What are you looking forward to reading this month?
