This is where having an e-reader comes in handy. You can eat a sandwich, or ice cream, or soup or… honestly, whatever you want! With an actual, physical book, however, you need one-handed snacks. And honestly, they’re what I still stick with because they’re what I’m used to.
Twizzlers. Or, really, any kind of licorice. It’s my one true addiction and I blame my mother. She’s the one who got me hooked as a kid.
Popcorn. This is a no-brainer, I think, because it’s easy to eat and doesn’t make much of a mess.
Chips. Although, it depends on whether I’m reading a print book or an e-book because chips can really mess up your print books.
Goldfish crackers. This is an easy alternative to chips because they’re baked and although a little salty, aren’t going to ruin your books.
Yogurt. I’m a weirdo, I love yogurt and things like those Chobani Flips are a perfect reading companion. They combine the protein-packed yogurt with something sweet, giving me everything I need.
I’m sure there are more things that I’m forgetting, but we can save that for another time.
