#SixforSunday is a fun weekly meme created by Steph at alittlebutalot and you can find the prompts for April, May, and June here.
Okay, so I found this meme by accident and thought it sounded like fun. Also, a way to maybe try and post more? Heck, it can’t hurt, right?
…and flopped at. Hah!
Although I’m going to tweak this just a tiny bit and change it to books I should have finished last year but didn’t.
And I Darken by Kiersten White. I was really into this and then received a review book or something from Netgalley or saw something shiny… who knows why I stopped, but I did.
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I have started and stopped this monster book a thousand times. However, I have made progress – I’m finally at the 60% mark!
Raven Black by Ann Cleeves. An online book group I belong to LOVES Ann Cleeves so I picked this up to read so I could join in with their adulation of the author. Trouble is, it’s a huge paperback and… my hands hurt after only a few minutes of holding a print book. I need this to go on sale for the Kindle. Stat.
So, this is my tale of woe. What does yours look like?
Normally, I don’t read a lot of young adult fiction, but this is a subject I can get into fully. Continue reading “[Blogtober] Witchy YA”
This is tough because I’m never up on new releases. Like, ever. Why? Because I have this ginormous backlog of books I haven’t read yet, so looking at upcoming releases only gets me into more trouble. That said, here are a few that I’m looking forward to not being able to buy for the next seven years: Continue reading “[Blogtober] Most Anticipated October Releases”
Okay, so I’ve never participated in Blogtober before, but I’m going to give it a shot thanks to Kathy @ Books & Munches. She helpfully posted a link to the blogging topics at Anniek’s Library. Now, the challenge is to keep up. Hah! Continue reading “[Blogtober] Spooky TBR”
I know, I never actually made a post for Avid August hosted by Books & Munches, but I’m going to post my resutls all the same. I need to get into the habit of doing more with this poor, neglected blog.
Wow, can you believe it’s almost March already? Yikes.
February’s challenge was fantasy or paranormal reads which I thought would be right up my alley. Yeah, well, while I did much better than I did in January, I still didn’t do very good. Continue reading “Fantastic February Wrap-Up & Monstrous March TBR!”
First things first: how did I do with my January Jam Jar challenge? Continue reading “January Update, Book Haul, and February Outlook”
Things have gotten a little nuts here at home lately and I haven’t been able to keep up with the weekly memes. I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things soon. *crosses fingers* Continue reading “Weekly Update”
