Happy Monday everyone!  What’s going on with you?  I thought that, in an attempt to lighten the mood a bit and distract from the current mess our lives are, I’d post some fun stuff that wasn’t a meme or a book review. Sound good?

[Blogtober] October Wrap-Up

Ugh, I was doing so well, guys, and then my husband got sick.  It wasn’t anything serious, but he had a kidney transplant back in April, so even a minor cold can be tough for him.  Over 4th of July weekend, he wound up in the hospital because he’d had a very mild cold the week before but, it knocked his white blood cell count so low that the doctors wanted him in the hospital until they were back up.  Thankfully, we didn’t have this issue this time.

[Blogtober] Reading Challenge Update

Last year, my Goodreads goal was 100 books.  I surpassed that by 15 or 20, I can’t remember which.  So, when I set my goal for this year, I thought what the heck?  Let’s go for 150.

Avid August Wrap Up

I know, I never actually made a post for Avid August hosted by Books & Munches, but I’m going to post my resutls all the same.  I need to get into the habit of doing more with this poor, neglected blog.

February’s challenge was fantasy or paranormal reads which I thought would be right up my alley.  Yeah, well, while I did much better than I did in January, I still didn’t do very good.
